Peter Viesnik is one of New Zealand's most experienced and talented glass artists. His glass blowing career commenced in 1979 when he established the "Hot Glass Company" in Devonport, Auckland with Peter Raos.

Peter makes a range of blown work and employs the more intimate process of flameworking to make intricate glass inclusions for his pieces. He enjoys giving his works individual personalities and the most dynamic pieces are exuberant and fluid.
