Received commission from Auckland City Council to make a set of Trophies for their Community Safety Awards presented by the Mayor, John Banks.
2007
Visited leading UK, London glass artists - notably Peter Layton, London Glassblowing Workshop and Adam Aaronson - Noon Studio, also the Ruskin Glass Centre and Broadfield House Glass Museum in Stourbridge, West Midlands. Also visited various glass artists and studios in Norway and Sweden.
On panel of judges for the 'First Annual Glass Bead Competition' held art Annie Rose, Whangarei, also conducted workshops there.
2006
Invited to exhibit at 'Showcase 2006', Te Papa Store, Museum of NZ (Wellington).
Included in 'NZ Glass', a book on The History of NZ Glass, produced by Angela Bowey.
Recommenced Flamework bead making classes.

Selected to participate in 'Southern Exposure' an exhibition of NZ Glass held at Glasmuseet Ebeltoft, Denmark. Also pre exhibited at Sarjeant Gallery, Wanganui and Object Space, Auckland.

Developed more overseas outlets and participate in various National glass exhibitions. Extensive tour through Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam.

Attended the Ausglass Conference, held at Caulfield College and R.M.I.T., Melbourne.

Purchased existing glass blowing workshop in Monmouth Street, Arch Hill, Auckland, formerly known as Gloria.
Attended NZSAG Conference in Wanganui.

Attended glass blowing workshop held by American master glass artist, Josh Simpson, at Wanganui Polytechnic Glass Summer School series.
Invited to make an official gift for an APEC World Leader attending the 1999 APEC Conference in Auckland.

Attended the Lucio Bubacco flame working workshop held at the Sydney College of the Arts, Sydney, Australia. (Ausglass).
Attended the NZSAG Pacific Lights glass conference, Auckland.

Commenced glassblowing at Burning Issues hot glass workshop, Town Basin, Whangarei.

Moved Flameworking workshop to Wellesley Street, Auckland Central and established GlassArts Gallery in partnership with Dermot Kelly.

Awarded QE11 Arts Council Grant to attend the Pilchuk Glass School, Seattle, U.S.A. Session: Creative Flameworking with Paul Stankard.
Commenced glassblowing at the hot glass workshop located at Elam School of Fine Arts, University of Auckland.
Elected onto the Crafts Council executive.
Organised feature for Neues Glas (New Glass) Glass Art in NZ

Assisted in the planning and organisation of major hot glass workshop given by Lino Tagliapietra, Dick Marquis and Dante Marioni. Closed The Hot Glass Company and moved to Sunbeam Glass to work with Garry Nash.
Elected President NZSAG.
1989
Selected for inclusion in the Crafts Council Index of NZ Craftworkers.
1986
Received a QE11 Arts Council travel grant to attend the American Crafts Council conference in San Francisco, also to visit various studios, glass artists and museums in America, England and Italy.

Elected Vice President of NZSAG.

Received a QE11 Arts Council travel grant to attend the Ausglass conference in Adelaide, with Richard Meitner, Amsterdam.
1981
Co-Hosted the N.Z. Society of Artists in Glass (NZSAG) conference and workshop, with Dick Marquis, U.S.A., teaching the hot glass workshop.
1980
Formed partnership with Peter Raos and commenced The Hot Glass Company in Devonport, Auckland.

Built first glass melting furnace, annealing oven and glass blowing equipment Albany, Auckland.
